The use of plants has existed in India since ancient times. These are normally used for the treatment of various diseases. Nowadays, people are returning to the old treatment strategies The traditional Ayurvedic approach to health is comprehensive, effective and promising. One of Ayurveda's most notable contributions is the science of herbal combinations, where traditional doctors prescribe a combination of herbal products for a better effect .Therefore, this approach is used in the current study to treat urolithiasis. Worldwide prevalence varies between specific areas with the highest percentage of 7–13% for North America, 5–9% for Europe and 1–5% for Asian countries . The incidence of urinary stones has increased in recent years due to changes in lifestyle and eating habits . The etiology of this disease is multifactorial and is strongly related to lifestyle habits or nutritional practices . Although there are few recent reports of the beneficial effects of medical treatments in increasing the clearance of stones in distal ureters , no promising antiurolytic agents have been reported, especially for preventing recurrence of stones. In this regard, many plants have been conventionally used to treat kidney stones and have been shown to be effective. In Ayurveda and folk medicine, many herbs are used to treat urolithiasis. Many researchers around the world are working to determine the potential of herbs in treating this disorder.
