Biography

Jeena , Associate Professor & Head, Department of Head and Neck, Ophthalmology & ENT, VPSV Ayurveda Medical College, Kottakkal, India. She is Specialized Practitioner in Ayurvedic Ophthalmology and ENT for the past 12 years and Member of panel of experts. She is the Principal Investigator for clinical trial in proving the efficacy of new medical products as directed by the Drugs Controller, Government of Kerala.

Research Interest

Currently doing research work in 1. Efficacy of Leech therapy in controlling intra-ocular pressure in glaucoma patients. 2. Efficacy of herbal medicine gargle in Radiotherapy induced oral mucositis in Head and Neck Cancer. 3. Efficacy of herbal medicine in correcting refractive errors in children.
